Dr. Gilbert M. Cubbison - Minister of Senior Adults and Pastoral Care
Born and reared in Guernsey County, Southeast Ohio, and have served in the U. S. Navy. My wife, Jeane, and I have four married children all serving the Lord in their churches and community. We also have 11 grandchildren. I accepted Christ as personal Lord and Savior at Second Baptist Church in Cambridge, Ohio. I was also called to the ministry in 1956 shortly after my salvation.
I attended Bible Mission Baptist Institute while doing interim work and church planting. I studied Moody Bible Institute extension classes, earned seminary degrees, a Master's Degree in Theology, a Doctor of Theology and a Doctor of Divinity from Peniel Baptist Seminary in Massillon, Ohio.
I have pastored churches in Tennessee, West Virginia, Indiana, and Ohio.
I was called to First Baptist Church, Lexington as interim Minister of Education in October, 2006. On February 10, 2008 I was called as part-time Senior Adult and Pastoral Care Minister.
